My name is Sue Eller (my “back in the day” name was Sue Siebrecht.) For at least the past 20 years it has been my dream to return home to the Northwest and specifically to the Sequim area. I grew up in Silverdale Washington and spent my childhood roaming the forests and beaches of Kitsap County, Jefferson County and Clallam County. Every day I looked across the water of Dyes Inlet in Silverdale, seeing the magnificent Olympic Mountains. If I had only known then what I know now. – I was the luckiest kid in the world!

My life’s story has led me to a number of places – Boston (as a graduate of Berklee College of Music), – Ohio (as an interim place to save money with my then fiance’ as we made plans to “make it big in Los Angeles”,) – Los Angeles and the surrounding region- where for 22 years I was at first thrilled by and then trapped by being employed in the entertainment industry.

At 44 years old I changed careers to become a Realtor in California – because I wanted a change from the frenetic rat race of working on network television shows as a music editor. Little did I know that my big career move would coincide with the most horrific economy since the Great Depression and that I was choosing to learn my new job at a time where many Realtors were going under. Thank God for me I did well despite that and the best news of all was that I was no longer trapped by a career that would require me to stay in “sunny, but totally annoying” Southern California.

I have returned to the place that connects me with my past, but more importantly-allows me to have a secure future near the infrastructure that would help me as I get older. When I was having a stressful day down in crazy California my mind would wander and I would visualize a house on a bucolic street where I am near fields and trees and can see the Olympic Mountains. Luckily for me, I was able to realize that dream. I purchased a property on 1.5 acres with a forest, fields and a view of the mountains. It is a perfect place to enjoy as I begin the next phase of my career back in the Northwest. I look forward to helping others find their dream home as I am now able to do the job I love in a place I love!
